[[Colonel Lionel Barker taps the button that opens the shuttle's side door. The ship's internal atmosphere rushes out into the vacuum of space, sweeping Nick and Victor Brown out with it.]]

[[As Nick and Brown tumble silently and helplessly into the inky void, the Colonel activates the shuttle's hyperdrive. The ship vanishes in a flash of light.]]

[[Nick and Brown continue to tumble. As he struggles against the weightless nothingness, Nick grits his teeth in consternation, locking eyes with Brown.]]

[[Our perspective flips. Now fully realizing his fate, Brown's expression is a mixture of fear, disbelief, and possibly even apology as he glances back and Nick.]]
